Vive mi Selección
Vive mi Selección is an emotional journey through the history and milestones of the Mexican Soccer Team.
An experience designed for families and soccer fans to enjoy, play and proudly connect with an emblematic part of Mexican sports culture. Through this monumental venue, a tour is taken through the space, surrounded by custom-made sets, lighting and ambient sound systems, all immersed with large-scale projections that recreate past and present moments of the Mexican Soccer Team. The experience also has a space to purchase official products, food and interactive activities for all ages.

In this project, as part of the Cocolab Set Design team, I participated in the design of the scenography and distribution of the space in the venue from the concept stage, so it was very important to work closely with the Creative Director.
Broadly speaking, the main experience was made up of two main spaces; the first, the introductory space, which represents the locker room where the players prepare before a game. Here, as a ritual, the visitor is given two bracelets, one to wear as a souvenir, and another to tie as an offering to the ribbons on the perimeter walls while listening to the sounds of the stadium in the distance. After making this offering, the visitor goes through a transition space (a tunnel of ribbons that increase in size) to reach the main space: the court. This is where the audiovisual show takes place, narrating historical moments of Mexican soccer through original video and audio content, with the support of programmed lighting in an environment designed to give the feeling of a temple without losing the character of a stadium.
